The tour begins with a cable car ride, giving you a unique view over Sarajevo. Once you reach the top, the hike continues along a forest trail toward the sunny western ridge. Along the way, you’ll pass peaceful viewpoints, historic wartime locations, and eventually reach the mountain lodge Jure Franko – a favourite resting place for hikers.

Named after a legendary skier from the 1984 Winter Olympics, the lodge offers a cosy stop where you can enjoy local food and drinks before returning. This tour is a great way to combine light hiking with unforgettable views of Sarajevo and the surrounding peaks.
