Explore the Untouched Peaks of Bosnia in a Guided Ski Touring Experience
This 7-day ski touring tour takes you deep into the snow-covered mountains of Bosnia and Herzegovina, combining untouched alpine terrain with rich cultural sightseeing. Led by experienced local guides, you’ll ski across Visočica, Prenj, Čvrsnica, and Veliki Vran, all part of the famous Via Dinarica mega trail, with time set aside to explore Sarajevo, Mostar, and Blagaj.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced backcountry skier, the routes are adaptable to your level and fitness. Each day blends thrilling adventure with comfortable accommodation and hearty local cuisine, creating a balanced and memorable journey through Bosnia’s winter landscapes.

Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Sarajevo and City Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Sarajevo International Airport, you'll be greeted and transferred to your accommodation.
In the afternoon, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Sarajevo’s most iconic spots, including the Old Town (Baščaršija), Sebilj Fountain, and the Latin Bridge.
The day ends with a traditional Bosnian dinner and an overnight stay in Sarajevo.
Day 2: Ski Touring on Visočica
After breakfast, you'll transfer to Visočica Mountain (Tušila). Ski the scenic slopes of Drstva, Veliko Brdo, or Subar.
Enjoy lunch at the cosy mountain lodge “Vrela” before transferring to Konjic near Boračko Lake.
Dinner is served either in a local restaurant or your accommodation.
Overnight near Boračko Lake.
Day 3: Peak of Visočica – Džamija (Veliki Ljeljen)
Begin with breakfast and transfer through Glavatičevo and Bjelimići to the village of Luka.
Ski up to the summit of Džamija, also known as Veliki Ljeljen.
Rest at the lodge in Luka before returning to Boračko Lake.
Dinner and overnight in the same accommodation.
Day 4: Ski Touring on Prenj Mountain
After breakfast, transfer by off-road vehicle to Prenj.
Ski to the Sivadije area, and if conditions allow, continue toward Borašnica peak.
Return to Konjic and transfer to Blidinje Čvrsnica.
Overnight at Hajdučke vrleti hotel with dinner.
Day 5: Čvrsnica – Veliki Vilinac Summit
Today’s ski tour ascends Veliki Vilinac, one of Čvrsnica’s most scenic peaks.
After a day of skiing and snowy views, return to the hotel for dinner and a restful night.
Day 6: Veliki Vran and Visit to Mostar and Blagaj
Start the day with a ski tour of Veliki Vran before transferring to Mostar and Blagaj for guided cultural sightseeing.
Explore historic landmarks and enjoy a farewell dinner.
Overnight in Mostar or the surrounding area.
Day 7: Return to Sarajevo
Return to Sarajevo. Depending on your departure schedule, an optional overnight in Sarajevo can be arranged.

Your ski touring journey is led by Edin Durmo, founder of the ski touring school “Scorpio” and one of Bosnia’s top adventure athletes.
He is joined by his son, Irijan Durmo, a respected Bosnian alpinist. Together, they offer extensive experience, ensuring your journey is safe, exciting, and locally rooted.
